Project and Program Management

Course description

The course includes the description and explanation of all the project management processes according to widely accepted standards (ISO21500, PMBOK, ICB, APMBOK, ELOT1429), as well as the presentation of the relevant tools for the management of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communications, risk, and procurement processes. Techniques such as Gantt, CPM, PERT, budgeting, cash flows, and cost-time trade-offs are presented. Special attention is given to sophisticated techniques and best practices such as Earned Value Management, Organisational structures, Critical Chain, etc.

Moreover, the course distinguishes between project and program management and concentrates on the differences between the two.
